Nosal ski center in Zakopane

Nosal ski center in Zakopane is a ski station located in Zakopane on the northern slopes of Nosal (1 206 m). From the top of Nosal leads the legendary Route "K" - the most difficult slalom slope in Poland.

Neither main route "K" (nor any of the others) does have FIS approval. The K route lost its license in the early 90s of the XX century due to the small width. This route is the steepest ski piste in Poland and one of the few black runs in Poland. On the first 200 meters, the slope exceeds 37%. Only the upper part of the SkiArena Szrenica exceeds that angle.

The resort has 3 km. of slopes of varying difficulty: 1 black, 1 red, 4 blue and 4 green. All the slopes are artificially snowed, lighted and prepared by snow groomers. The total capacity of the lifts at Nosal is 5160 people per hour.
