Who is João de Castilho?
Born in 1470 Castillo Siete Villas - died in 1553 Tomar
was a Luso-Cantabrian architect of the sixteenth century. In Portugal is claimed to be the most important architect of his period. Five of his monuments are declared a Cultural Heritage Site by UNESCO.
