Nova Mar Bella Beach

Nova Mar Bella Beach is located in the district of Sant Marti-Poblenou. It is approximately 500 metres long and is separated from Mar Bella Beach by the Bac de Roda breakwater. The creation of the beach was possible due to  restoration of one part of the seafront which took place during urban redevelopment before the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.

This beach, located far away from the city centre, is especially beloved by women for its relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. In the weekends, this place is mostly visited by families with children. It can be easily reached by means of public transport.

The beach is well equipped with the facilities for the disabled, such as wooden walkways which help them to move across the sand to the shore as well as the amphibian bathing chairs.
