Who is Charles Percier?
Born in 1764-08-22 Paris - died in 1838-09-05 Paris
French architect, he studied in Paris and later lived in Rome in the years (1786-1792), working on the reconstruction of Trajan's Column. In the years (1794-1814) worked with Fontaine. Together with him was an inventor and major proponent of the rich, grand, consciously-archaeological versions of neoclassicism recognized as Directoire style and Empire style.
