The Brabofontein (Brabo Fountain) is a fountain located in the Belgian city of Antwerp. The fountain is a bronze sculpture of Silvius Brabo made by Jef Lambeaux in 1887. The Brabofontein is located in the main square, or Grote Markt in front of the Town Hall.

The legend about the name of the city said that the giant 'Druon Antigoon' used to cut the hand of all captains that moored in the area and refused to pay a toll. The giant cut their hands and throw them into the rivert. The Roman army captain Brabo cut off the giant's hand imitating what he had done. The fountain reflects the time when Silvius Brabo cut the giant's hand and throw it into the river. The etymology of the name of the city of Antwerp (Antwerpen in Dutch) means the same thing: Ant (hand); werpen (launch).
