Sant Sebastià Beach
San Sebastià is a beach located in the Ciutat Vella district, close to the city centre and the area of Port Vell. It is one of the oldest and most traditional beaches in Barcelona. It is approximately 1,100 metres long and spreads over an area from Port Vell to the Almirall Cervera street. It is a very crowded place visited mainly by middle-aged people. The beach is easily accessible by public transport. On the beach, there are lots of recreational facilities such as a rescue centre, showers, toilets, and changing rooms. Because the beach is close to the harbour, it is home to a yachting club. The beach is also equipped with the facilities for the disabled, such as mobile chairs, which are available every weekend and bank holiday in June, in the second fortnight of September, and every day of July and August as well as in the first week of September, from 11 am to 2 pm.
