Oxford Street, located in the City of Westminster in London, is one of the most famous shopping streets in the world. It runs from the Marble Arch in Hyde Park to Tottenham Court Road, intersecting with another leading commercial street of the city, Regent's Street.

Walking along the street you will pass by over 500 shops, many of them belonging to some of the most famous brands in the world. Here you will also find many restaurants, cafes and typical English pubs.

Oxford Street is also famous for its annual tradition of lighting Christmas lights by various celebrities. This custom began in 1959 and was later adopted by Regent Street.
