Granada railway station

Granada railway station till twentieth century was the only station within the city of Granada. The building is from early twentieth century. The undertaken reforms have mainly influenced it's interior. Its size is small compared with other stations. Together with tracks has a much more considerable size of approximately 84,000 square meters. Most tracks are unused since the traffic is organized using a small number of them.

The station will undergo major changes in the coming years due to the high speed train coming to Granada. The project is being designed by Rafael Moneo. The modification will cost 570 million euros.
