The Science Park of Granada
The Science Park of Granada is the first interactive science museum in Andalusia (Spain). It was inaugurated in May 1995 and is currently occupying 70,000 square meters. The Park is located in a central area of Granada and has become one of the main tourist attractions of the city. Its construction was supervised by architect Carlos Ferrater and won the National Architecture Prize in 2009.
Outside the park you can enjoy botanical tours, a "Mental Gymnastics", the garden of Astronomy, the square of Marie Curie or dynamic sculptures. From more than 37 meters high "Observation Tower" you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city and different experiences regarding seismography. The life cycle of butterflies can be known in this room which recreates climatic conditions of the tropics.
