Synagogue in Basel
Synagogue in Basel - a synagogue located in Basel, Switzerland. It is now a religious and cultural center of Basel Jews. The synagogue was built between 1866 - 1869, designed by Hermann Gauss in a moorish and neo-Byzantine styles. The synagogue went through a couple of times repairs and reconstruction, including in 1892, 1947 and for the years 1986 to 1987, when it was completely restored.
