Place du Tertre
The Place du Tertre is a square located in the elevated quarter of Montmarte in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, close to the Basilica of the Sacré Cœur and the Lapin Agile.
Each day numerous artists set up their easels here, thus reminding everyone of the role this place used to play in the past when Montmarte was the mecca of modern art. At the beginning of the 20th century, it was home to such famous painters as Picasso and Utrillo.
Near the Place du Tertre, you can find the L'Espace Salvador Dalí museum, which is mainly dedicated to the works of Salvador Dali, displaying his sculptures and drawings.
