Perfume Museum

The Perfume Museum is a private museum located in the centre of Barcelona in the Gracia district, right behind the Regia perfumery. The purpose of the museum is to show the public the evolution of perfume bottles and other containers through different times and places. In the museum, scattered around two big halls, there are about 9 000 bottles demonstarting the evolution of perfums from prehistoric to modern times as well as their diversity in different cultures - Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Greek, among others. The museum was opened in 1963 and is located on Passeig de Gracia 39 street.
