Jardin d'Acclimatation
The Jardin d'Acclimatation is a 20-hectare large amusement park for children located in the northern part of the Bois de Boulogne park, which stretches along the western edge of the 16th arrondissement of Paris. It was designed by Davioud and Barillet Deschamps and inaugurated as a zoological park on 6 October 1860 by Napoléon III and Empress Eugénie. The attractions that the garden offers include an archery range, the house of mirrors, miniature-golf course, narrow-gauge train, pony ride, puppet theater, shooting galleries, a science museum (the Exploradôme), and an art museum for children (the Musée en Herbe). Throughout the year, a large number of fun, pedagogical workshops for children are hosted in the park.
