Freedom Square in Poznan
Freedom Square is a square in Poznan, located on the west of the medieval part of town.
In 2005 began another remodeling, associated with the creation of underground parking under the square. The authors of the project, which referred to that of the interwar period were Kazimierz Rucinski and Stanislaw Kirkin. The fountain replaced the parterre and trees were plantad again. The work was completed in 2006.
Square place is used for various purposes, from the exhibition place to the great seasonal beer garden. In Autumn 2009 the Higiei monument was placed again.
