Refugio en Stog Izerski
Shelter on Stog Izerski - located at an altitude of 1060 m above sea level, about 50 meters below the top of Stog Izerski (Jizera). The building constructed in 1924 is architecturally attractive. It was built on the initiative of the family Schaffgot, Riesengebirgsverein and Josef Siebielt as Heufuderbaude. From this place there is a good view on Świeradów-Zdrój, Foothills Jizera (north) and the Polish part of Jizera and Giant Mountains (east). After World War II the shelter for a time bore the name of John Kasprowicz.
Hostel (but not the peak) lies on the main Sudecki route. Near the hostel there is the former Polish-Czech tourist border Izerski-Smrek and a new view tower on the Czech side.
