Plaza del Mercado Viejo en Lodz

Old Market Square in Lodz is located in the central-northern part of Lodz. It has the form of a large rectangle measuring about 105 to 85 m. From 3 sides - from the north, east and west is surrounded by typical houses with arcades. The buildings on the west side of the square are separated by street Zgierska. From the south to the Old Town Square there is an adjacent park.

Old Market Square and its nearest surroundings were, the oldest settlement, which were the nucleus of the current Lodz.
