Setcases - information about the city
Setcases (literally meaning seven houses in Catalan) is a municipality and town in the Spanish Pyrenean comarca (county) of Ripollès in Catalonia, Spain, near the French border. The source for the Ter River is in the mountains just above Setcases. The current mayor is Jaume Busquets i Bartolí.
The name Setcases has been documented back to 965, from the record of a few donations made by Count Sunifred of Besalú in the nearby monastery of Sant Pere de Camprodon.
