Museum of the Galician People

The Museum of the Galician People (Museo do Pobo Galego) opened its first rooms in 1977 in the former convent of Santo Domingo de Bonaval, in the city of Santiago de Compostela (Galicia, Spain).

It was established as an organization to serve the community and safeguard traditions and customs that were often forgotten or relegated to the official story.
