some old art, some new art

I'm not quite sure if getting to the Charles Bridge just to fondle the statue can actually bring the good luck, but one thing I know for sure is that due to those numerous meticulously-crafted statues you can have one of your best photos taken there.

Still, if you get impressed only with some more contemporary art, it is again the Charles Bridge that will at least get you to either Kampa Museum or Artbanka. And these are now the top-notch venues for contemporary art maniacs (each of them located at the opposite end of the bridge).
