Hunedoara ( [huneˈdo̯ara]; German: Eisenmarkt; Hungarian: Vajdahunyad ) is a city in Hunedoara County, Transylvania, Romania. It is located in southeastern Transylvania near the Poiana Ruscă Mountains, and administers five villages: Boş, Groş, Hăşdat, Peştişu Mare and Răcăştia.
