Thermae Bukowina

Terma Bukowina Tatrzańska or Thermal Pools in Bukowina Tatrzańska is a complex supplied with water from the hot springs. The complex is located in Bukowina Tatrzańska near Zakopane (15 km) and Nowy Targ (20 km), on the edge of the Tatra National Park.

The total water surface area of all pools is 1885 sq meters with a capacity of 2,260 m³. The thermal water is extracted from a depth of 2400-2700 m. The water complex is composed of six indoor and six outdoor swimming pools equipped with a variety of attractions including hydro-massage. With the warm thermal waters of up to 36 degrees C, it is possible to use the outdoor pools in winter. Whole year 10 of 12 swimming pools are open with water temperature of 27 to 36 degrees C. To the complex also belongs the beach - "Zohylina", SPA center, 8 saunas and a restaurant.

Thermal water extracted from the well in Bukowina Tatrzańska PIG/PNiG-1 is a sulphur-calcium-chloride-sodium with a mineralization of 1497mg/dm³. The important for health components in the water are: sodium, calcium, chlorine, potassium, sulfur, magnesium and chromium.
