The Shard London Bridge

Shard London Bridge is a skyscraper located in the London Borough of Southwark that is still under construction. It is also known as "The Shard of Glass" because of its slender, spire-like form. When finished, the 310-metre tall tower will be the tallest building in Great Britain and in the European Union. The 72-storey building will house offices, hotels, posh restaurants, exclusive residents, cafes, and a spa. The highest floor will serve as an observation tower. The building was designed by the Italian architect Renzo Piano. It is almost entirely covered with glass facade with sharp edges, which makes it look like an iceberg. Its completion is due in 2012.
