The EDF Energy London Eye, best known as London Eye is a tourist attraction of London. Also known as the Millennium Wheel this 'Ferris wheel' is located on the west side of Jubilee Gardens and between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge, in the district of Lambeth.

Built in 1999, the London Eye is currently one of the most visited tourist attractions of the city and the largest Ferris wheel in Europe.

It consists of 32 ovoidal capsules, representing the 32 boroughs of London. Each capsule weighs 10 tons and accommodates 25 passengers. The wheel works like viewpoint due its rotation which is 0.9 km / h, to allow for greater enjoyment of the city from the air, taking pictures, etc..

It is owned by the energy company EDF Energy.
