Japanese Garden in Wroclaw

Japanese Garden in Wroclaw is located in the Park Szczytnicki. Japanese Garden was founded in the years 1909 - 1912 in connection with the Centennial Exhibition in 1913, at the initiative of Count Fritz von Hochberg of Iłowa and designed by a Japanese gardener Mankichi'ego Arai. Unfortunately, after the show, majority of loan Japanese details were taken back. In the Garden there was a pagoda, neglected and dismantled in 1997.

In the years 1996 - 1997 Polish and Japanese gardeners from the city of Nagoya, led by Yoshiki'ego Takamura, carried out the work to restore the character of the Japanese garden.
