Golondrinas in Port Vell
Las Golondrinas are various motorboats that can be found in the Port Vell in Barcelona, right next to the Maremagnum shopping centre at the foot of Christopher Columbus statue. This much-loved attraction goes back to 1888, when the first Universal Exhibition was held in Barcelona. The cruises along the coastline of Barcelona allowed people to take a look at the Catalan coastal areas from the sea. It is worth noting that at that time most of the beaches in Barcelona had not been yet created.
Currently, you can enjoy at least three different types of cruises around the port which last from 35 minutes up to one hour. The tours are still very popular among the tourists
